Getting closer now. Hope some of you can make it be it for a day visit, the weekend or longer. At this stage we have about 20 vans/mobile homes/campers coming. Some will be here for the school holidays others just passing thru over the weekend. If you are wa based please try and come for a visit and meet some of our travellers from all over australia.
Bumping up again. We have now installed an external septic loo for our campers use. Hope to meet up with a few from this forum. Don't forget if you are ever passing by you are more than welcome to drop in for a night or two or just stop for a cuppa.
Seabird is around 70 kms north of Perth WA. It is the middle weekend of the school holidays. The southern exodus from up north will be on and we already have some campers arriving a week or so before hand and staying on after. You pet is welcome too.
Program is roughly Friday night happy hour and campfire, Saturday night Community tea, happy hour and campfire and Sunday leftover lunch.
Kettle will be on and there is always someone around to have a cuppa with. Tea Coffee bikkies etc provided. Morning tea has been known to continue thru to happy hour!! Oh and Happy hour doesn't have to mean alcohol, tea coffee is quite acceptable!! Just join in with the camaradie and tall stories!!
We are on 5 acres and have plenty of room. You MUST be self contained. We have plenty of water but no power or loos. Grey water can go on the ground. As far as we are concerned self contained means you have your own power be it a genny or solar or whatever, porta potti and the ability to have a bucket bath/wash in your campsite.
Come along and join us whether it is for an extended stay, the weekend or a day trip we would love to see you.
We are 12 kms from both Seabird and Guilderton. There is a dump point at Moore River Bridge about 10 kms away. Small general store in both towns, fuel at Guilderton. Bottle shop in both towns and Seabird has a Tavern. We are about 30kms south of Lancelin and 60 kms from Gingin. Beach and river fishing, tourist things to do,the wild flowers will be out in abundance, or you can just vegetate and do nothing.
Last year it was a tad damp so please start your offerings to the weather gods for a fine weekend.
So mark this on your calendar and we hope to see you here in October. (PS anyone passing by at anytime is welcome to call in for a cuppa .)
