I hope the Mozzie things work. Also for those of you with a smart phone there is the Anti Mosquito and sandfly repeller ap which of course I have installed, it also repels humans and dogs....

The Anchorage at Kalbarri is good OM, we stayed there a few months back, plenty of room and on the waterfront, more room than the Murchison. They have an old and a new ablution block. Nice cafe right next door.
Also the servo next door outside the fishing shop is the cheapest fuel, closed on Sundays though.
We have also stayed at the Tudor, a few streets back, drops a few trees branches though but a bit more protected.
Beware of Shark Bay for Midgies if it is that time of the year (I can't remember), so some midgie protection or relief might be in order, can't remember when we were there and got eaten alive......
Shark Bay Van Park is the only one with vacancies so we have no choice but to stay there, the reviews in Badgers reasure me that having our own ensuite was a wise investment.
Likewise at Kalbarri the Anchorage is the only park with Vacancies so we will be staying there but it gets reasonable reviews.

Ok I'll take it on advisement and contact the parks for a written quote.
I'm not happy with you 2. Both of you failed to tell me that competition at the Kalgoorlie pubs was so strong for patronage at lunch that the meal is irrelevant but it is the attire of the waitress that is the deciding factor. Served today by a stunning waitress wearing zilch, well I thought it was zilch but closer inspection revealed she was wearing a couple of skillfully applied round bandaids and a sligthly larger piece of what looked like elastoplast down below..... Really put me off my Sausages and Mash..... Advised by a local that "over the road" Cling Film G strings are de rigour. "Skimpys are the go In Kal" said another enthused patron....
Your negligence in the this matter is reprehensible.
Oh come on OM she would have mashed your sausage
Oh come on fair suck of the sav, its a chipolata, not a sausage....

Well it was only because JRH and I are such clean living people we don't enquire about things like that......and nobody told us so we could avoid it (at least that's our story, lol !)
Well I have it on good authority that Mrs Gnome is going to Crochet a cuppla skimpys for her and Hyacinth, maybe she could crochet one for DWAH so that when Blue is on his pub crawl he will be reminded what side of his bread has the butter on it....
Mrs. Gnome hasn't had all her crochet lessons yet.
Does that mean the skimpies will be even skimpier?
Don't know if the budget will stretch to that much butter

I'll have to do a pub crawl in Kal, just to test my resistance to the attributes of those spasely clad ladies. After all, I have Dwah so my temptation factor would be zero.

Although this park is pet friendly, it is actually in Denison, not Dongara, although both townships merge together and are very close.
VERY nice park but don't get shocked when they charge you a credit/debit card fee when you book in (about 1.5 percent I think) but a lot cheaper than other parks in Dongara/Denison, see;
For Kalbarri, I would prefer the Anchorage, pet friendly when not school holidays and very room (Murchison not very roomy) and also cheaper than the others, see;
When in Kalbarri we always stay at the Anchorage and find it a great Park. On a Thursday night they have a $3 meal, that is for each part of the meal you want, EG:- a cup of soup $3, A hamburger with the lot $3 and so on, it makes for a grand evening's get together.
