Stop looking, we have found a canopy, close to home, off to collect it tomorrow.
Only 2 more weeks of inconvenience, hopefully plaster will be off ,never to be seen again, can now empathise with permanently wheelchair bound people, amazing how the simplest things can be sooo difficult.
Thanks for all your cheery comments guys, and no, no pole dancing or trapeze act involved, BUT one of my "friends" did enquire if I either fell out of bed or PERISH the thought, was having S** at the time!!!!!!! No, it was definetly a slippery floor tile, that's my story and I am sticking with it.
Cheers, CP
CP,who would doubt the word of a Lady?............Well a couple on this Forum could be a bit dodgy now I think of it.No names,no pack drill. They know who they are.Come to think of it a broken leg sure beats a headache.

Being a trapeze artist would certainly help with pole dancing. Have you seen those dancers...........defy gravity they do.
Dwah,I try not to look at those poor demented scantily dressed ladies,on the odd occasion that I have peeped from behind my schooner glass and oogled.oops glanced in their direction I can only admire the affection that they show their poles.
No will give the canopy a miss , but sure could have used the ambo last week, toppled over on slippery tiles and now laid up with a broken leg, full cast as from yesterday, pretty green, didn't know that they came in designer colours, 5 weeks to go. Wheelchair is preferred mode of transport at the moment can get up a great speed twixt bedroom and toilet. At least the spring has sprung.
Cheers, Cherrypie
How selfish of you.Now you can't play in the Netball finals. We were counting on you.Oh well Dwah-Ma will have to take your place.Sheba will have to create a mirage and play in two positions.Apart from that,Cherrypie I hope that you are not in pain and seriously we all hope that you will be on your feet again asap.(No pun Intended). You sure it was a slippy tile and not a fall from your skateboard?
