I agree some of those monitors are rather large, the one I am installing is 3.5 inch and fits nicely on the dash on the drivers side about the same side as the old style NSW rego sticker
Yes Wombat trouble is with anything less than 7" I cant see to much... I use my rearview camera to cover the blind spot directly behind the van and behind me where the mirrors don't reach. Plus of course being mounted on the existing rear view mirror you dont have to take your eyes off the road to glance in it, and it's legal up there providing of course you are not watching a movie on the second channel.....

Yes well if you can organise some dates and a suitable venue that's dog friendly we may meet up at The Ridge. NSW School hols start on the 12th April; all coastal sites will be booked so we may still have a chance out that way....
Our bunch of reprobates are meeting on friday to tie up the dates for LR, I will let you know friday evening when we will be there

I'm selling my 10" rear view monitor/ rear view mirror. Its the type that clips over your existing internal mirror, there is nothing worng with it except Hyacinth says "its too big, I can't see" so I'm downsizing to a 7" one... In this case Size is Everything....
Anyway it has 2 video inputs, 1 for the car, 1 for the van or 1 for the car and 1 for inhouse movies ( NOW THAT IS ILLEGAL watching a movie, irrespective of the genre, while driving) easy to wire up and easy to conceal the wire to the monitor by simply tucking it up under the head lining has several adjustable screen resolutions from 4:3 to 26:1 (really wide screen) to cope with different camera resolutions. Acts as a normal large rear view mirror when not in use.... Complete with all cabling and its little power supply box...
Whats it worth? I payed $au60 on eBay 2 years ago so offers by IM would be good as I have no idea what its value would be. A new one is around $60 + post..... all sensible offers considered.... anything to stop the nagging, anything at all.....
