Hi everyone,
The unofficial weekend escape at Crystal Brook was a great opportunity to share time with fellow nomads. It went to prove it's a small world when you have wheels under you. No matter how we do it, we do it for as many diverse reasons.
It was well organised, the caravan park managers were very congenial, and the catering by the local CFS (Country Fire Service) was plentiful and tasty. All cost for meals such as the barbecue lunch on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday went to the CFS.
I really enjoyed putting faces to "tags", with lots of fun and frivolity.
Now Goingsoon, I'm sure you'll be welcome at the next event, and you'll have to be on your best behaviour, as will everyone else. For-warned is for-armed.
It's a nice setting for a lot of fun.

Would you settle for "almost on my best behaviour"

Please remember that this weekend is not sanctioned by this, or any other forum, nor is it under the banner of any association.
Each individual participant is responsible for their own actions, and hence, owner onus applies.
‘Tis simply a group of like minded folk getting together for a yarn.

Its on again with the same 2 week gap after Easter .

As the park has new managerment who now require people to book themselves in and pay a depoist please contact the park on 08 86362640 to book a site .

If you will be arriving early please contact the park directly and book though them for the extra days ,but do tell them you are with the forum group .

No 3rd party bookings will be accepted .

As to the name change . Groovy Memorial week end . Groovy who some of you may know or know of , suggested having a UWE at Crystal brook last year and was going to do most of the work involved till he was dianosed with lung cancer and was unable to attend . He passed away on Nov 20 2011 after giving the bastard hell (his words) We all lost a great mate and when it was suggested at Crystal Brook that we change the name to G.M. week end it was unamious
