We have a unit in Mildura, but we're not selling at the moment. Daughter is in residence. House prices are very reasonable.Lots of new estates springing up.

Mt. Gambier is a lovely place.  We spent a couple of nice weeks there a few years ago in the van park at the top of the hill overlooking Blue Lake.

Could think of worse places to be.

Try Mt Gambier. Nice place very cheap real estate and growing fast. easy to get to lots of places from there. Son is moving there with Bigw soon. Masive new complex being built there.

Dam cold in winter tho, take your long johns

Yes we like it and one of the reasons we like it is we thought it was comparitively cheap compared to Bathurst. If you know of any other places with good roads in most directions and big enough to have most of the things we may need as we get older that is cheaper we would like to hear of them.

Real estate agents aften say "location, location"but who really determines where the location is.

Forgive my cynicism, (sp) but I have only had two dealings with estate agents as regards buying and selling houses in my life, and they were not happy experiences as far as getting value for money.

Mind you, my nomadic life meant dealing with lots og agents for rental properties and I have had no problems on that score.

I do agree with Trev, push the Jenman system when buying.

A few here, nice spot Mildura if you're on high ground...

Not the cheapest real estate is it? Probably inflated by the proximity to numerous Vineyards and the ostentation and pretense associated there with....

But then a dugout in Coober Pedy is not cheap either....

Now, is the response topical or off topic, should we call in an arbitrator to determine if my original response was really related to the initial question and therefore also off topic, but then, is this a mathmatical question, if so two off topical responses must put the topic back on topic.

But in response to your question, the answer is a definite possibility of a maybe no.

If I had a house in Mildura, I would sell it to you. But, as I don't, all I can offer to sell are a few Murray cod lures, a set of waders and an instruction booklet on how to avoid untrustworthy real estate people

My lady and I have decided to relocate our stuff from Bathurst To mildura so need to purchase a home in Mildura or environs, irymple, cardross, Nichols point etc. Not too fussy and will consider most anything. We will then be selling our 4 x 2 in Bathurst if anyone is interested.
